Increase your slow speed power and control with Sailrite’s exclusive Power Plus® Balance Wheel. This balance wheel is an injection molded version of the original Monster® II Balance Wheel. The large diameter of this balance wheel is twice the size of traditional balance wheels and the resulting gear change reduces speed and increases power, allowing you to sew thick assemblies at controlled speeds.
Sewing machines equipped with the WorkerB® Power Pack Motor System can be used with the Power Plus Balance Wheel when paired with an 18.6" timing belt. The result is the same power and speed control as the Monster II Balance Wheel with a bit more noise resulting from the hollow plastic molded wheel. The Monster II Balance Wheel also includes a removable manual operation crank handle.
The Power Plus Balance Wheel comes standard on the Sailrite® Leatherwork® Sewing Machine. It was previously standard on all BASIC, PLUS and PREMIUM Ultrafeed® machine packages, as well as the Stitch Master® and Big-N-Tall Sewing Machines. When this balance wheel is used with Ultrafeed, Leatherwork and Stitch Master Sewing Machines, it must be used in conjunction with the Posi-Pin® Safety Shear. It is not compatible with traditional older friction sewing machine clutches.
